Q: What do the different pony face markings mean?
A: Face markings don’t have special meanings like secret codes, but they do help us tell ponies apart and give them loads of character! Here are a few common ones:
Star – a white spot on the forehead
Stripe – a thin line of white down the nose
Blaze – a thick white stripe from forehead to nose
Snip – a white patch on the muzzle
Some ponies have a mix of these, and no two are exactly the same. These markings are just part of their coat pattern – kind of like freckles for horses!
